Sore Arm's Fishing Charters is based on Lake Superior and departs from Historic Big Bay Harbor in Big Bay, Michigan. We specialize in off-shore full-day trips to Stannard Rock, a lighthouse 45 miles north of Marquette and 26 miles east of the Manitou Islands. We focus on helping you get the catch of a lifetime - a trophy Lake Trout.
We also offer a near-shore half day trip with views of the Marquette County shoreline with a goal of catching all species -- Lake Trout, Coho, Brown Trout, Steelhead and King Salmon.

In addition to our Off-Shore and Near-Shore excursions, we offer sight-seeing tours which showcase Granot Loma, Granite Island Lighthouse, Huron Islands and historic Big Bay shoreline along the Huron Mountains and other shoreline sights of Marquette County.

We provide all tackle and bait, and bait the hook for you. All you have to do is catch them and reel them in!
Comprehensive Trip Planning
We have the routes charted, but you need to be prepared as well! Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, bring food, beverages and snacks, and wear soft-soled shoes to protect our deck.
Must have a valid Michigan Fishing License for anyone 17 years of age or older. You can purchase one at Holiday Gas, Crossroads Convenience, Kassels, Cram's General Store in Big Bay, or purchase online.
